Is hemp derived CBD oil legal in my state?

Yes. The Agricultural Improvement Act of 2018 passed and became law as of January 1, 2019 and ends the era of hemp prohibition. It legalizes it at the federal level and removes hemp and hemp-derived products such as CBD from the Controlled Substances Act of 1970 and reclassifies Hemp as an agricultural product. It explicitly states that states cannot limit the transportation or shipment of hemp and hemp products through their respective jurisdictions. It gives the FDA and the states regulatory authority. All products on HappyCBDStore are produced in compliance with the act.
There are a few jurisdictions and counties throughout the U.S. that have not caught up to the new federal law and still claim they do not allow “hemp oil” but that accounts for a very small percentage of counties in the U.S. We always suggest you talk with your local government about the legalities of “hemp oil” where you live prior to ordering just to be safe.

Does CBD produce a high?

No. CBD (cannabidiol) is a non-psychoactive cannabinoid and does not cause a high, unlike THC. Industrial hemp by law, only contains trace amounts of THC, less than .3%, which is almost undetectable. All of our products contain less than .3% THC and many have ZERO THC.
In addition to CBD for medicinal use, hemp is cultivated for its fiber and has tens of thousands of uses and can be used to make plastic composites, paper, construction materials, beauty & body care products, health foods, biofuel, rope, clothing, sails, ink, paints and many other products.

How is CBD oil made in the products you sell?

We have a very high standard when it comes to what brands and products we will carry. CBD oil can be made many different ways. All the products sold on are extracted by either CO2 or steam distillation. We do not carry products that use other extraction methods such as ethanol, butane or propane extraction or other methods.

Is CBD going to help with whatever alignment I have?

Legally, we cannot say whether CBD can cure, prevent or treat any condition or disease. At we encourage you to do your own research, and as always consult with your physician before taking any wellness supplement.

Is CBD oil safe to take or ingest?

We have had no experience where someone had an adverse reaction to taking the oils we sell however we are not doctors and cannot legally give advice on such topics. As such we recommend anyone interested in using hemp derived CBD products purchased from or any other retailer to consult with their physician prior to consuming any CBD products.

Will your products show up on a drug test?

Typical drug tests screen for THC and do not detect the presence of cannabidiol (CBD) or other legal natural hemp-based constituents. Studies have shown that consuming hemp with low THC (less than .3%) can cause one to fail a drug test if enough is consumed. Since there are many variables involved and no one knows what "if enough is consumed" means, we cannot answer this question for each person. We do carry THC-free products for those who prefer it. However, if you are concerned with drug tests, we recommend not consuming any CBD products whether THC-free or not, from any retailer or manufacturer and we'd recommend doing further research before making any decisions to consume CBD.

What are the dosage recommendations?

We cannot legally make any dosage recommendations for any specific conditions and suggest you do further research. CBD affects everyone differently both immediately and over time so the product and dosage that works best for each person depends on the individual. What we do suggest is to start with a small amount, see how it affects you and adjust the dosage from there.
